Venue hire

The Grosvenor Museum’s purpose built Victorian lecture theatre can be hired by groups and societies for lectures, presentations and films. The atmospheric setting is hung with pieces from the museum’s art collection and seats 125 on fixed, raked seating. There is partial disabled access and full audio visual facilities. The lecture theatre is in regular use by a number of societies throughout the year.

The hire charge includes use of all the audio visual equipment.

Tea/coffee/biscuits can be provided at £2.20 per person.

Non-commercial societies and groups

Half day hire
4 hours, between 9am and 5pm: £91
Additional hours: £29 per hour

Full day hire
8 hrs, between 9am and 5pm: £183

Evening hire, Monday to Friday
5 hours, between 5.30 and 10.30pm: £229

Evening hire, Saturday and Sunday
5 hours, between 5.30 and 10.30pm: £286

Commercial companies

Half day hire
4 hours, between 9am and 5pm: £115
Additional hours: £35 per hour

Full day hire
8 hrs, between 9am and 5pm: £204

Evening hire, Monday to Friday
