Museum Closure: Friday 11th October 2019
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the peaceful death of Peter Boughton, Keeper of Art for West Cheshire Museums, after a short illness. Peter will be greatly missed by all his colleagues for his commitment to public access, his tireless work to improve the collections within his custodianship and his infectious humour.
In order for his friends and colleagues to pay their respects the museum will be closed on Friday 11th October 2019.
School groups that have pre-booked sessions will still be accommodated.
We will reopen as usual on Saturday 12th October.
